What is Permanent Jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a piece of jewelry (typically a bracelet, anklet, or necklace) that does not have a traditional clasp. Instead, the ends of the jewelry are soldered together while you’re wearing them, creating a seamless look. As the name implies, these pieces are intended to be worn all the time.
Beyond just being pretty and fashionable, permanent jewelry holds a deeper significance for those who wear it. It serves as a constant reminder of a special moment, a cherished memory, or a significant relationship.
How it works: 3 Simple Steps!
Step 1:
Pick your chain
Step 2:
Pick your charms
Step 3:
Get Zapped!
How to safely remove your Permanent Jewelry
Permanent jewelry can easily be removed with a pair of scissors, wire cutters, or nail clippers if you choose to. Make sure to snip at the welded site (jump ring) and save your chain in case you want to reattach it in the future.
How to care for your Permanent Jewelry:
Clean it Regularly!
Cleaning your piece regularly is essential to maintain its shine and beauty. Use a gentle soap and a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove any dirt or grime that may have accumulated. You can also use jewelry polish cloths to help restore its luster as well.
Be mindful with your
day-to-day activities:
Although your piece is “permanent” and can withstand daily wear and tear, it is still a delicate chain. When doing strenuous activities like exercising or playing sports, be sure not to tug or pull on your piece.
Avoid Exposure to Chemicals
Chemicals in cleaning products, perfumes, lotions and self tanners can unfortunately cause some damage to your piece. If you do come into contact with these chemicals, be sure to rinse your piece immediately with clean water and dry it thoroughly.
Our Re-Weld Policy:
One free re-weld at any Ever After Jewelry Pop Up event or Market appearance with proof of purchase. Re-weld will be completed providing that the piece has not been broken beyond repair as determined by welder.
*We cannot re-weld if you do not have your chain!*
